AUDITIONS
THE UAE NATIONAL ORCHESTRA IS RECRUITING PERMANENT ORCHESTRAL MUSICIANS ACROSS A RANGE OF INSTRUMENTAL SECTIONS THROUGH AUDITIONS.

Audition phases
The auditions will run in two phases:
The first is by submission of an audio/visual recording following the recording guidelines. Following review of these, appropriate applicants will be invited to attend in-person auditions in Abu Dhabi.
To audition it is essential to participate in Phase 1 and submit an audio/visual recording following the audition guidelines provided for each position. If for any specific reason you are unable to submit a recording in Phase 1, contact us by email at auditions@uaeno.ae to discuss.
Successful applicants for instrumental positions will be offered full-time positions for the orchestra’s first season from September 2025. Abu Dhabi, is the home base of the orchestra which will perform across all seven Emirates as part of its annual season as well as undertaking international projects.
Phase 1: Submitting a recording
Recorded audition submissions must be received on the following deadline:
Oriental Instruments and Singers: February 23, 2025
Western Instruments: March 8, 2025

Phase 2: In-person auditions in Abu Dhabi
Based on the Jury’s deliberations, only shortlisted appropriate applicants from Phase 1 will be invited to join the in-person auditions in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Timing and location will be confirmed via email in due course.
Audition rules
THIS AUDITION IS OPEN TO APPLICANTS OF ALL NATIONALITIES AGED FROM 18 AND ABOVE.
To participate, all applicants must complete the application form and submit a copy of their Emirates ID card (if appropriate) or valid passport.
- Any incomplete applications will be rejected.
- All applicants for Phase 1 must fill in and upload a signed video recording declaration with their submission(link). (link).
- The Jury’s decisions from both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the auditions are final.
- Any questions regarding the audition should be directed to the email address auditions@uaeno.ae.
- Applicants should not directly contact any members of the Jury in relation to these auditions prior to their completion.
